A simple but safe solution
SOVAN
SOVAN is a highly absorbent fistula pad on a hypoallergenic breathable patch. It is intended for the compressive haemostasis of the needle insertion points at the end of dialysis and to contain exudate at the end of a transfusion.
SOVAN is particularly suitable for reducing the risk of bleeding by exerting compression on the needle holes and acting as a barrier against infection. The non-adherent, biocompatible layer means that it adheres less to the insertion point and allows atraumatic and residue-free removal. The patch ensures that the fistula pad is held in place, reducing the time required for healthcare professionals to assist the patient.
